Praising the Lord God Almighty and His Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ—that, above all else, is what the music and drama ministries at First Baptist Church of Dover strives to do. When you consider that God owns everything—from the planets to the oceans to the cars that we drive—what can we truly give Him except our praise? We seek to lift His name in music, stir the hearts of believers, uplift fellow Christians, and draw seekers who desire to know more about the love of our Lord. Our music is blended, God-centered, and open to anyone who simply wants to make a joyful noise. Instead of just one entrée, our music ministry tries to provide is a buffet ranging from Southern Gospel, to contemporary, to traditional. Our drama ministry works with the music to present two major productions each year (An Easter Musical Drama and A Celebration in December) in addition to comedic/dramatic skits, readings, and monologues that accentuate our worship. We may not be perfect, but we serve the One Who is!
